Mind Test

Your Brain Usage Profile:

Auditory : 53%
Visual : 46%
Left : 43%
Right : 56%

No matter which side of your brain is dominant,
M i n d W a r e
can strengthen your emotional brain power by helping you understand how
you feel about yourself.

"Nicolas, you show a slight right-hemisphere dominance with a moderate preference for auditory processing, an unusual and somewhat paradoxical combination of characteristics.

You are drawn to a random and sometimes nonchalant synthesis of material. You learn as it seems important to a specific situation, and might even develop a resentment of others who attempt to direct your learning down a specific channel.

Your right-hemispheric dominance provides a structure that is only loosely organized and one which processes entire swatches of reality, overlooking details. You are emotional in your reactions and perceptual more than logical in your approach, although you can impose structure and a language base when necessary.

Your auditory preference, on the other hand, implies that you process information sequentially and unidimensionally. This combination of right-brain and auditory modes creates conflict, as you want to process data more rapidly than your natural processes allow.

Your tendency to be creative and free-flowing is accompanied by sufficient ability to organize and be logical, allowing you a reasonable degree of success in a number of different endeavors. You take in information methodically and systematically which can then be synthesized rapidly. In this manner, you manage to function consistently well, although certainly less efficiently than you desire.

You prefer the abstract and are a theoretician at heart while retaining the ability to be practical. You find the symbolism in a great deal of what you encounter and are something of a "mystic."

With regards to your lifestyle, you have the mentality which would be good as a philosopher, writer, journalist, or instructor, or possibly as a systems designer or social worker. Perhaps most important is your ability to "listen to your inner voice" as a mode of skipping over unnecessary steps to achieve your goals. "

Surprisingly the analysis is very accurate. I always think of myself as paradoxial, being able to balance my creative side with applied logic. And i really do listen a lot to my "inner voice", call it gut feeling or intuition.. its what drives me to skip what i feel is unnecessary and cut ahead into the fast lane.

Busy days

Just leaked out a concept art of the upcoming Transformers 3 movie: Director Michael Bay says that Autobots and Decepticons will have babies!!

AHHHHH~

no la jz kidding. that's my photomedia assignment.Brief: Gather pics of various objects and then combine to create 4 series of Hybrid.

Basically it's a Photoshop assignment, erm well i didn't like it cause we need to paste it on mounting boards, type a 500 word rationale and spray mount it, put inside sleeve and present ala Diploma style. ~!@#$%^&*())(*&^%##!@$

I used only 3 hours to create all four of them, beforehand of course i took a lot of time to source the pictures from *ahem* net. 3 hours = rush work = cropping errors manyak manyak.

Aiyah no choi la. Aaron's hybrid 1 paling best. hehe.

On top of that i have motion graphics assignment (gambateh vertigoblack!), film shooting (tak suka) and final project planning (way off course from schedule)

my msn got 'somebody' chui me so i shall sign off. byez. XD

Getting it out.

1. Need to get back in full gear. Suddenly realized how lazy i am compared to internship, bahhh... 3 hours of work starts to feel like the whole day. Where's the Super Sayan mode override.... let's see.
Competition drives me more than anything.. cuz i'm a terrible self motivator :-p

I'm actually behind on my assignments!!! gahhhhhh.

2. I don't like Photomedia. Time to bring out the mounting boards and spray mounts zzzz.
Photo manipulation work again?? That's Diploma stuff!! What's this subject doing in 2nd year AML anyway. As usual, 0% complete. Cuz i think it's not gonna really help in my portfolio anyway.

3. MUD's movie was awesome.. the interaction part.. well, lets say i felt REALLY shy all of a sudden and had a near panic attack to introduce myself to the fellow students. "Social Butterfly" isn't a trait that i possess.

Still, nice to meet a few juniors - the Dml1 "power gang", LMK, and a few bloggers in person. haha. koryu.. i didn't see u!

ok ciaoz, time to get back to the grindstone.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

10am: Was at Dml1's lecture hall to collect protection money, but Karin chase me away cuz got briefing.

11am: Picked up Aml1 money from Julia, then went to McD to eat with Jun and Low Piggy. ngek ngek. .

12pm: went to V208, to meet Karin AGAIN. Bad news: the total sum doesn't tally.

12.15pm: Went to Lab A2 to meet up with Dml2 Robin. After counting Dml1 money halfway, we realized tat the file containing Aml1 and Aml2 money is MISSING.

12.30pm: Fly to McD and asked around. Nothing.

1pm: Came back to emo party in the lab. "I pay lorrrrrr........."

1.30pm: Moon didn't give up, went to McD again to search. And waddaya know? FOUND! I nearly had a heart attack.

2pm: Fetch Robin to the atm to retrieve the money.

3pm: Reached Times Square. Went to book the tickets carrying Rm3k in a purse. Then Another Problem: They told us that we need a letter from College to book tickets in bulk.

3.15pm: Called DML Programme Supervisor, Edwin say Monday only can give out. Desperate, i called Mr "A", the cinema manager for help. He's off shift and not at the cinema. Trying to find Manager No.2, we're told that he just went out for makan and will be back at 5pm.

4pm: Sat down and imagining all sorts of scenarios that the tickets have been all sold out while we're waiting for Manager No.2 and choking on a chicken chop.

5pm: Received classified strategy from war generals Aaron and Byrn untuk menjalankan "Operasi Burung Hantu" in case everything else fails.

5.30pm: Luck is on our side, "A" came out to meet us while we cunningly laid out a web of Lies and Deceit to him. He fell for the "Operasi Burung Hantu" like Jack and Jill going down the hill.

6pm: We received the printout for reservation seats.

This morning at 9am, we finally shook hands, sealed the deal and paid in full.

And everyone lived Happily Ever After.

The End.

Update 18th June 2009

Hopefully everyone has got the confirmed number and payments ready, cuz we're gonna get them tomorrow from DML1, DML2 and AML1 and start booking!

Also the biggest concern at the moment is that whether we still hv enough space available for 24th june, rmb we still havne't booked yet. Hopefully everything goes well... *crosses fingers, toes, arms, limbs*

Another thing, most of the AML1 students can't make it cause of a Ptptn inconvenience, so we're guessing maybe only 10 of them will show up. Very very sorry Julia and friends, we can't afford to change the date since we confirmed with everybody already... some of the juniors are starting to make a lot of noise, so we really hope that we can get 24th of June, if cannot... walao fan toi ah (overturn tables)

Will be collecting from Karin, Robin n Julia. See ya guys tmr.!
